You’re but ash

In your body of sin

Carry yourself to the sea

& pour out yourself

Do not sing. Silence is godly

Our mothers can tell

Silence is godly!

Allow tears flow down your heart. For the things you have done

& the things you didn’t

I mean the things you did the wrong way

& the things you supposed to do

Did you not tell your friend to fuck your pastor’s daughter

You did not tell papa smoking is a sin

Maybe because you fear him

Don’t you know fear eats prayers

Carry yourself to your father now & scream

Father. You are a sinner

If he beats you. Your prayers would still be answered

Now open the scripture & read….

Your heart must be clean

For God is said to be white

Cut off dark corridors

Go now & ask for forgiveness

From everyone you’ve offended

From all that has offended you

God is flawless you must be too

Now beg for acceptance

Listen to gunshots & the voices of people it ate

Now your voice must be heavier than both
