He returns himself to us

Everyday. In songs of Psalms

When the leaves dance

& the trees wave

When the birds chirp

& the crickets croak

When the sea jumps

& butterflies flap its beauty

God returns himself to us

In songs & whispers

No matter how dark the world becomes

God didn’t die

He returns himself to us

In many ways

& that’s beautiful
