Parousia Magazine is an online Christian arts and literary magazine that brings together both established and emerging writers, poets, artists, readers and lovers of arts and literature from all over the world.

Parousia Reads is established to serve as a solution to the challenges faced by Christian authors by meeting the needs of publishing and distribution of books. Parousiareads Publishing is a unit that handles the Digital and Print Publication while Parousiareads Bookstore is a unit that offers the sales of digital books, an online bookstore. Mission and Vision

‘PAROUSIA’ a Greek word meaning Arrival, personal presence, which relates to the second coming of Jesus Christ, offers a platform to exhibit the works of established and emerging writers, poets and artists from different parts of the world. We do this with a passion to; Promote the gospel, Christian arts and literature and we seek to inspire, empower and encourage every reader who comes across every of our published works.

Our Mission is to publish good news, give voice to writers and support the Christian walk of faith.

Our Vision is to be the foremost platform where the knowledge and understanding of God would be made available through literature reaching nations, covering the earth.

Name: Tola Ijalusi

Position: Founder and Managing Editor

About: Tola Ijalusi is a Nigerian Creative Writer, Poet, and Reviewer. He strongly believes in the creative use of words to enlighten and transform humanity. He is a mentor for the SPRINNG Literary Movement Fellowship. His works appear on various online journals and magazine. His works have been published in anthologies such as Peace Is Possible, Muse for World Peace II & III, The Sun Will Rise Again, Best New African Poets Anthology 2016 & 2017, Writing Grandmothers, Africa Vs Latin America Volume 2, Wreaths for a Wayfarer Anthology. He is a recipient of PIN Excellence Award 2016.

About: Abimbola Olaleye is a Nigerian book editor, blogger and writer of Christian, Lifestyle articles and books reviews. She is the Editor of Parousia Reads & Magazine. A Graduate of Accounting who finds comfort in the world of Literature. 

Board of Advisor

Su’eddie Vershima Agema is a Nigerian poet, editor and literary administrator. He is also a culture promoter. Agema has two known published poetry collections, Home Equals Holes: Tale of an Exile (Joint Winner, Association of Nigerian Authors Prize for Poetry 2014) and Bring our casket home: Tales one shouldn’t tell (Longlisted for the Association of Nigerian Authors Prize for Poetry 2012). His short story collection, The Bottom of another Tale was shortlisted for the Association of Nigerian Authors Prize for Prose 2014 and the Abubakar Gimba Prize for Short Stories 2015. Agema was awarded the Mandela Day Short Story Prize in 2016 with his story, ‘Washing the Earth’ while his poem, ‘Tales one shouldn’t tell often’ was shortlisted for the Saraba/PEN Nigeria Poetry Prize 2013.

Oyin Oludipe was a judge for the 2015 Green Author Prize, a literary award for young unpublished poets in Nigeria. He is the winner of the 2016 Christopher Okigbo Poetry Prize. His poems have appeared in numerous art journals. He is a Prolific and award-winning creative and problem-solver who has gained experience creating compelling commercial content for world-leading brands like Google, Guinness, Visa, Kellogg’s, PZ Cussons, Mars Wrigley, Stanbic IBTC, Palton Morgan, Mobil, Dunlop, Roche, Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO), and several other national and international B2C, B2B, retail, and FMCG brands.
