‘Collisions’
Planets collide at the strength of His voice. The vastness of space expands in silence with no noise.
Stars explode, they cannot contain their praises, supernovas singing His name in their blazes.
Each galaxy sparkling like diamonds as they swirl and spin, unaware of the beautiful nothingness they live in. But their lights still give flickers of praise, relishing in hands of whom they were made.
Some planets have pressure so thick, that diamonds rain because of it. A reminder that Everlasting Father turns pain into beauty and drought into rain.
The universe gives total evidence of only One name. The Lord God is He: never to be eclipsed by someone else. An all-powerful artist, whose artwork can be seen and felt.
‘Pretty Places Mixed With Pain’
Like water colors mixed together on a palette so opaque and white, is the pain in the pretty places, darkness mixed with light. How many times have I stood in the garden, flowers in full bloom and the sun dancing on my skin, while tears flooded my face and my future looked dim?
How many times have I stood next to the evergreen trees that sway in the wind? They dance and remain their true color through thick and thin. But my life falls to pieces while I walk through the woods, my anxiety standing as tall as the trees stood.
I could stand next to a sculpture so perfectly tall and figure so Greek, surrounded by works of art the whole world wants to meet. But the storm of emotion inside won’t let go. My eyes see beauty but the pain engulfs my soul. To my Father I pray. At the altar I lay. Please take this pain away. I can’t enjoy the beauty of your world you create, if I’m always looking back at the mistakes I made. Let me rest and take a fresh new breath of air. Then I’ll wake up with joy and enough peace to spare.
This is the hope after the strain. The sun after the rain. This is for all the pretty places I missed, because I was in pain.
