I was lost in life living it on my own. 
Then I was found through faith in God alone. 
I was lost in life in a couple of ways. 
Until I gave the lord above my gaze.
I didn’t remember trying it at first. 
I forgot my efforts alone were worse. 
But once I let God handle my every day, 
I knew everything was going to be okay.
Then I gave him all 24 hours of it,
Because I knew only he could handle it. 

I started my journey through life alone.
Trying to handle it all on my own. 
I eventually got so lost in my life,
As it got confusing and complex while i continued to strive, 
All on my own to handle my life.
Eventually, realizing I needed help,
And that I couldn't do it all by myself. 

I got so concerned as I looked place by place,
Around me for help with what I had to face. 
I was so lost in that concern i had in my eyes,
That my God above never met my eyes.

I was so busy with that I started to forget, 
That God was the best help I could get. 
So because it wasn’t too late,
I set my gaze,
On the God who could help me for countless days.
Not even my GPS could beat, 
The directions from the God, who will never encounter a defeat.

Then things got better as I knew they would.
Even when God's plan was better than I had understood.
Despite my doubts I had the faith too see,
That god’s plan was still a lot better for me. 

All that faith i struggled to keep,
eventually paid off as I eventually could see.
Things eventually got better as I knew they would.
Even if sometimes I didn’t understand,
And nearly regretted leaving it in his hands.

Now i’m glad i never had to put those efforts back on track,
And that I trusted God's plan until the end.
I never wanted to get lost again. 
Now my faith in him means it won’t happen again.

So whenever you're lost in any way,
Don’t ever dismay,
Or let your dismay,
Ever get you to lose your way.
As long as you’re faithful in god each day,
Leaving it in his hands, no matter what comes your way,
Everything is going to be okay.
